Randonnée pédestre
Le Luisin
Salvan - Les Marécottes
As of 15 October, this route has been stripped of its chains and ropes for the season. It is therefore no longer accessible. Thank you for your understanding.
The Luisin is a summit on the heights of La Creusaz, it offers a breathtaking view of the Mont-Blanc massif, the Trient glacier, Salanfe and many Valaisan peaks.
The ascent of the Luisin is considered an alpine hiking trail. It requires hikers to be sure-footed, not prone to vertigo and in very good physical shape. The path passes through rocky terrain with short climbing sections.
From the arrival of the Marécottes gondola at La Creusaz, follow the direction of the Emaney mountain pasture (about 10min) and turn off at the dam following the white-blue-white signs for the summit.
Once you have reached the top of the Luisin ridge, which is quite steep, join the Emaney pass to descend towards the Emaney mountain pasture. Once you arrive at the Emaney mountain pasture, you can join La Creusaz by following the indications on the spot or go down directly to the village of Les Marécottes.
