Access to Vieux-Emosson by road is currently strongly discouraged due to a large unstable névé located upstream of the second tunnel. This block of snow could break loose at any time, posing a real danger.
The path leading to the site is not yet passable. The snow is still at altitude, and it will be a few weeks before it melts enough to allow safe passage.
We understand your desire to discover this exceptional site, but to ensure your safety, it is essential that you wait a few more weeks. The conditions will soon be right for safe access.
