Spectacle son et lumière Waterfall pour la Fête Nationale

To mark National Day, the Écho du Trient brass band is delighted to announce an exceptional event: an immersive sound and light show at the majestic Pissevache waterfall in Miéville on 31 July 2025, starting at 10.15 p.m.

This unique project, entitled WATERFALL, will feature an original composition by Gauthier Dupertuis, director of Écho du Trient and a native of Vernayaz. Inspired by the power and beauty of the waterfall, this work for wind orchestra, recorded by the Concordia de Fribourg under the direction of Jean-Claude Kolly, will be performed at the foot of the 116-metre waterfall. Spectators will be treated to a sound and visual experience in perfect harmony with the natural setting.

The lighting for the show will be provided by Lumen Créations, a renowned specialist in monumental installations and architectural mapping. Using cutting-edge technology and an innovative artistic approach, the waterfall, surrounding forest and rocks will be enhanced by light shows and video projections, offering the audience a poetic and sensory rediscovery of the landscape.

This sound and light show replaces the traditional fireworks display, which is now less in tune with current concerns about the environment, noise and the preservation of the natural site.

Important information

No parking will be available near the venue. In addition, the access road running alongside the motorway from Vernayaz will be closed at SOS Surveillance.

Please use the official car park for the event at Salanfe SA and follow the signs.

The organisers encourage the residents of Vernayaz to use sustainable modes of transport to get to the festival and the ‘Waterfall’ sound and light show.
