Orgues, musiques et cimes - Organ and vocal concert

The church of Salvan will vibrate with an incredible resonance between the unique voice of soprano Cécile Pierrot and organist Denis Comtet, who will highlight the nuances of the Salvan organ, built in 1966 by the Kuhn organ manufacturer.

Cécile Pierrot, soprano

A graduate in organ, piano and chamber music, she was awarded a gold medal with unanimous praise from the jury at the Reims Conservatory. She is the director of the Ensemble Amaranthe (2018), which brings together musicians to explore the unexplored repertoire of 17th-century spiritual airs, a work recently recognised by the Bibliothèque Nationale de France.

Denis Comtet, organist

Titular organist at La Treille Cathedral in Lille (Gonzalez-Klais, IV-101), one of the four largest instruments in France. He teaches organ privately in Lille and is a piano accompaniment teacher at the conservatoire in Paris's 17th arrondissement.
