Escape World: dive into adventure in the heart of fortresses
Since 2015, Cedric and Rebecca have been bringing their passion for adventure and games to life through Escape World in Vernayaz. Their shared story began long before the opening: as siblings, they loved inventing treasure hunts in the forest when they were children. This passion led them to create their own world of escape games, combining imagination, mechanics and immersion. Today, their rooms can be found in Vernayaz, Saint-Maurice, Sion, Morges and Prilly.
A story of passion
Escape World is above all about the desire to create new experiences. Each scenario is designed to be unique and rooted in an authentic setting. In Vernayaz, players are immersed in the striking atmosphere of an old military fortress, transformed into an immersive playground. It's an original way to discover this timeless place. The industrial and vintage mechanisms used further accentuate the realism and transport participants into a unique setting.
An intergenerational experience
The strength of Escape World lies in its intergenerational nature. Grandchildren, parents and grandparents can all take part, each contributing their own perspective and logic to solve the puzzles. It's a great way to create shared memories, both through the game and through discovering the location. Escape World also offers gift vouchers, an original idea for giving your loved ones a unique experience.
Unforgettable memories
Among the many anecdotes, one stands out: during one session, a participant unintentionally set aside a piece of paper found in the treasure in the final room. The player was more focused on the objects in the room. He thought it was a puzzle... but it was actually an ultrasound scan, left by the mother-to-be to announce her pregnancy to her husband!
Ambitious projects
Always on the lookout for new ideas, Escape World is now developing team-building activities. Companies can opt for a full-day package combining adventure and team dynamics analysis. In a room specially designed to accommodate up to 18 participants, players evolve under the watchful eye of a coach and observers installed in a control room. The experience helps to strengthen communication, collaboration and group cohesion, all in an original and stimulating setting.
On the adventure side, the ‘Quarantine’ and ‘Strategy’ rooms will be completely redesigned and the puzzles changed. “Quarantine” and ‘Strategy’ will offer two chapters of the same story, playable separately or together.
The highlight of the Trient Valley
If Cedric had to share just one piece of advice, it would be to take the Mont-Blanc Express train and admire the autumn views of the Trient Valley. A peaceful valley, marked by its inhabitants and unspoilt nature, it is ideal for contemplation.
