Coronation of the dam closed to pedestrians on August 18

Important information:

Work on the Emosson dam wall will start on Monday 17 August and will last about 10 days, weather permitting.

On Tuesday, August 18, 2020, the access to the dam's cap will be closed to pedestrians for the entire day.

LA CABANE DU VIEUX-EMOSSON will also be closed that day, as no access is possible from Emosson.

It will therefore only be possible to hike from Emosson in the direction of Barberine, Fenestral, Finhaut.
It will not be possible to go in the direction of Loriaz, Vieux Emosson, site with footprints...
