Camping in Salvan

Tents, caravans, coaches and motorhomes are welcome in the municipality of Salvan, but only in designated areas. The designated sites are:

• Camping des Marécottes: +41 27 761 18 30 
• Camping de Van d'en Haut: +41 27 761 26 61 (access only for vehicles up to 2.50m in height)
   

Only if the campsites are full, it is possible to park in the car parks at Les Bettex (46°06'55.4‘N 7°00'45.1’E) and the Marécottes cable car (46°06'37.8‘N 7°00'22.1’E), on the compacted earth area, for a maximum of one night. Please note the following:

• Please leave this area as clean as you found it
• No facilities for emptying grey water or toilet waste
• Please use your own toilet facilities
• Local shops and restaurants look forward to welcoming you
• Please respect local residents
   

Outside these authorised sites, all forms of camping are strictly prohibited, in accordance with Article 57.2 of the Salentin Inter-municipal Police Regulations.
