Route des diligences (mountain bike)
By taking the stagecoach route you cross the Trient Valley from Vernayaz to Vallorcine.
The first part of the forest road consists of 37 bends and ends in the centre of the village of Salvan then direction Les Marécottes to pass in front of the Zoo des Marécottes. In Le Trétien, it is possible to visit the Gorges du Triège and the history of this village classified of national importance described on the didactic panels. The stagecoach route continues on the other side of the village in the direction of Finhaut. From Finhaut the route continues in the direction of Giétroz and Le Châtelard where the departure of VerticAlp-Emosson is located. A few minutes later you are at Châtelard frontière where you will pass on the French side by a carriage path at Barberine to reach Vallorcine.
